REGARDLESS OF DATE STARTED SHOWN HERE: I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS IN IOWA FOR FINDAGRAVE, A GLITCH CHANGED THE DATE.

PLEASE DON'T ASSUME MINE ARE NEWER!

APR 2014
**My Family Tree is a little larger than most for a lot of reasons, the main one dawned on me

Family and friends were always welcomed to Thanksgiving and Christmas when my Mothers' Mother was around. We never turned anyone away, if you had a friend with nowhere to go, they became family. I research my family and sometimes find it hard to stop. I never believed in just 1st generations, because I was raised by loving 2nd and 3rd Aunts and Uncles, whose children were MY Cousins. I truly believe we are one big family and if you look deep enough into your family tree you will find you connections to your neighbor down the road, across the country and around the world.

I started with Findagrave photographing in 2007,

I started photographing the Braddyville Cemetery in Page County Iowa.

Sadly I can't get out to the cemeteries anymore to photograph anymore. I am so grateful to the other volunteers out there that so diligently photograph and save our past for everyone out there. I try now to connect the dots between the generations, sometimes mine and sometimes yours.

I try to double and triple check my facts, if I made a mistake please send me a correction under edit and I will gladly fix it, or if you would like a memorial transferred also please use the edit to ask for the transfer.

My philosophy is I put these here for historical value, and for you the descendants of these families. You may or may not have more information of them than I do, as long as you go through the edit, suggest a correction and ask me with a explanation of how you are related I will likely consider the transfer. EXCEPTION IS MY DIRECT LINE OR FAMILY MEMBERS.

WHEN I BECOME A FALLEN GRAVER, I ASK THAT SHARON LEWIS BECOMES THE MANAGER OF ALL MY MEMORIALS THAT SHE DECIDES TO MANAGE. THOSE SHE DOES NOT DESIRE TO KEEP CAN BE HANDED OVER TO THOSE THAT ARE ON MY FRIENDS LIST OR RETURN TO FINDAGRAVE MANAGEMENT.

I love doing the literal digging for FINDAGRAVE.

I HOPE WHAT I FOUND SPARKED SOMETHING IN US ALL TO CONTINUE TO PRESERVE THE PAST, IT'S A LITTLE STEP WE ALL CAN DO.

NOW WITH A NEW FOUND COUSIN, WE BOTH HUNT DOWN OUR ANCESTORS. WE EACH BRING SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO THE EQUATION; NEW EYES ON THINGS THE OTHER MIGHT MISS. WE BOTH LOVE FINDAGRAVE, CONNECTING LOST FAMILY MEMBERS IN FINDAGRAVE AND MEMORIAL MANAGEMENT IS MY PASSION AND FINDING THE PEOPLE THAT NO ONE ELSE CAN FIND.

THANK YOU, FINDAGRAVE AND ALL THE VOLUNTEERS!

WE WOULD ALL BE LOST WITHOUT YOU!
