Bio

I'm a Certified Genealogist whose focus for 25 years has been a regional one-name study of Brooks families originating in early (pre-1700) New England. I maintain a website to share the early generations of these families at Tributaries.info and am preparing a book on the descendants of Capt. Thomas Brooks, who died at Concord, Massachusetts in 1667. A secondary focus for even longer has been the old Willow Cemetery in Franconia, New Hampshire, dating to the late 18th century, which I first stumbled across, in a state of neglect, in 1967. Inscriptions, findings and maps of an archaeo-historical survey I did there in 2002 for the Town of Franconia can be downloaded at http://www.tributaries.info/ui490.htm.

Corrections and additions are always appreciated.
