I have been involved with the geneology of my family since 1995. And it is thru the research of my families that i learned that my mom and my wife are 4th cousins! So if you do the math you will know the added relationships i have with my children!!!! Geneology is a challenge, it is a passion to some more than others to know who has come before us. Where they lived, where they walked and worked, went to church, were married and the list goes on and on. In my tree i know the names of all my great great grandparents and from there it gets lean on a few branches of the tree. On the branches i have my forefathers back ten generations and some more, which to me is exciting! Along with Geneology i have another passion for photography, so when i had the opportunity to photograph grave sites in my community for others, i take it as a challenge to seek them out and photograph them to share with others in search of them. I look forward to the day when the names of those buried in cemeteries across the country will be catloged and photographed for all of us to share!

My family names consist of: Truitt, Strong, Granger, Lawler, Collier, Hall, Morgan, Cooper, Godwin, Sims, Posey, Farley, Davis, Frost, Gurganus, Earnest, McLaughlin, Dickey, Hawkins, Kilgore, Smallwood, Coupland, Foote, Bishop, Rakestraw and Buckelew.
