Bio

I was born and raised on the farms of Central Kansas and as an "adult," home has been in Colorado, Washington State and California. Our family was, and still is, simple. Love of God, Family, County and Service; respect for all, and quiet charity to those in need.

Find a Grave has been a great way for me to honor my family. My Mother passed away in 2012 and this site has been a part of the healing process for me. Have always worked on the family tree, it seems. Using that as a tool has been helpful in the linking and obituary processes. My goal is to honor each member with the linking process, a note of recognition, a photo of their monument and, for some, a photo. Working together with other contributors has been a delight. Have reconnected with family members and met new, distant family with common goals. Has been great to compare memories with these folks.

THANKS:
With the "new edit" method, I don't always write a 'thank-you' nor do I expect one. We all have plenty to do to keep up. Be assured that I do APPRECIATE any addition/correction, or PHOTO REQUEST you fulfill for me. Please accept this as my thanks for your efforts.

To add an internal link in the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
(I put this here because I use it frequently and am tired of digging for it in the FAQ.)
