Struthers- Jeanetta Pearl Eisenbraun, 87, of Struthers, died Tuesday morning, September 7, 2010 at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman.
Mrs. Eisenbraun was born September 2, 1923 in Bidwell, PA, the daughter of James and Nellie Linderman Shipley.
She was a 1941 graduate of Struthers High School, attended Youngstown College, and was a 1950 graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. Mrs. Eisenbraun, along with her husband, was co-owner of the Struthers Print Shop for 50 years, retiring in 1990. She also played the organ for area funeral homes and was superintendent of the children's church at Struthers Baptist Tabernacle from 1955 to 1970.
Mrs. Eisenbraun was a member of the former Mill Creek Baptist Church, and she taught children's bible school at the church.
Her husband, William A. Eisenbraun, whom she married February 6, 1954, died January 12, 1985. She leaves two stepdaughters, Sally Shipley of Youngstown and Ruth (Clarence) Moats of Cleveland, TN; a brother, Tracy Shipley of New Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Sturgis, Ernest, James, Robert, Richard, and Delmer Shipley; and two stepsons, Ralph and William Eisenbraun.
Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, with Pastor Ron Shipley officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
