Community saddened by Mrs. Caudill's death
By HASSIE BREEDING

Our community was saddened again this week to lose another friend and neighbor. Mrs. Leslie Caudill (Dora) died at her home Saturday evening. Dora had been sick for years, unable to walk very well for some time, and then later confined to a wheel chair. Dora was always ready to smile and joke to cover up pain. She loved to have her friends in to talk with her and her husband.

Less Caudill died only a few months ago. Dora lived in the community near Sycamore and is the sixth person to die within a year in this small area. Other neighborhood deaths included Clarinda Back, Rev. James Caudill, Less Caudill, Dewey Adams and Aunt Becky Brown. Dora wanted her body taken back to the old home place on Linefork, where her parents are buried. She also has a daughter buried there.
