Brenda Lou Pack (68) of White Oak, loving wife, mother, NaNa, and great-grandmother passed away at home Wednesday, November 7, 2012 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family.
She was born May 6, 1944 in Summers Co. and was preceded in death by her parents, Guy W. and Macy Pack Basham; her brother, Billy Basham; her sister-in-law, Doris Bennett; and her niece, Dorenda Meadows.
Brenda was a member of Little Bluestone Primitive Baptist Church since 1977.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Leo B. Pack (Ralph); her children, Julie and husband Lawrence Young; Beth and husband David Browning; and Mathew Pack and wife Jessica; grandchildren Sarah (Jeff) and husband Casey Hughes, Amanda (lil Bit) Gardner, Benjamin (Mr.Bean) Browning, Samantha (Ms. Sam) and husband Brandon Smith, and Joshua (Joe) Browning; one great-grandchild Remington (Little Ray) Smith; her sister Betty Boothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton, WV on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Elder Jerry McGrady officiating. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral parlors.
Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery, Nimitz, WV. Those serving as pallbearers will be Mathew Pack, Benjamin Browning, Joshua Browning, Lawrence Young, David Browning, Casey Hughes, Brandon Smith, Herman Pack, Kenny Boothe and Brian Edens.
