MERIDIAN — Services for William Wiegand, 84, of 314 West Cherry Lane, Meridian, who died Monday at a Boise hospital after an automobile accident, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Robison-Jerread Chapel of the Chimes. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 2, 1892, at El Monte, Calif., where he was reared and attended schools. He married Frances Engle Aug. 9, 1930, at Las Vegas. He was in the rock-crushing business in Pasadena until 1935, when he moved to Chino, Calif., where he was in the cattle-feeder business. In 1947, he moved to Caldwell where he was a dairyman until he retired. Mrs. Wiegand died in August 1967 and he moved to Meridian in 1971.
Surviving are a son, Everett L. Wiegand, Campo, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Loyal (Beverly) Green, Meridian; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Chambers, Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Lizzie Clemenson, Temple City, Calif.; five granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
