Born in Buck Valley, Pa. he was the son of the late Willie and Rachel Crawford Sigel.
He was employed by Watson Lumber Co. in Bedford, Pa. He was a member of the Buck Valley Lutheran Church. He was also a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Mrs Arvada Jeanette Fletcher Sigel; three sons, Walter E. Sigel of Falling Waters, W.Va., Watson L. Sigel and Travis E. Sigel both of Warfordsburg; one sister, Mrs. Helen Hetterman of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Clyde Sigel of Bedford, Pa. and Wade Sigel of Crystal Springs, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Fairview United Church of Christ. The Rev.Delmas F. Bard will officiate.
Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Full military graveside services will be conducted by Webster B. Harrison Post No. 26 of the American Legion, Hancock, Md. Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home in Hancock.
