Obituary from American Press (Lake Charles, LA) - Thursday, April 8, 2004:

"WESTLAKE - Mrs. Annie B. Cormier, 82, of Westlake, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, in a local hospital.

She was a native of Church Point, and had lived in the Lake Charles/Westlake area for more than 50 years. Mrs. Cormier retired from the Calcasieu Parish School Board after many years of service. She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Cormier; son, Keith Cormier; grand-son, Mark Thompson; and great-grandson, Kasey Cormier.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-10 p.m. Friday, with a rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of serv-ices, Saturday, in the funeral home."
