Robert B. Henderson, 70, of Sistersville, died March 3, 2002, in Sistersville General.
He was born May 14, 1931, in Weirton, W.Va., the son of the late Ralph and Arlene Weekley Henderson. He was a retired employee of the Hope Gas Company, with 39 years of service. He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Una Mae Ash Henderson; four daughters, Flora Mae Hayes and her husband, Bruce of Enon, Ohio, Audist Sue Pancake and her husband, David of Sistersville, June Ann Bermingham and her husband, Steve of Rantoul, Ill. and Freda Lynn Thompson and her husband, Ronnie of Lima, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Jenica Pancake Weaver of Landisville, Pa., Justin Pancake of Sistersville, Susan Hayes of Miami, Okla., Michael Hayes of Enon and Devon Thompson and Jarrett Thompson of Lima; and one great-grandson, Dominic Weaver of Landisville, Pa.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Furbee Funeral Home of Middlebourne. Rev. Donald Thomas will officiate. Interment will be in Alf Smith Cemetery of Middlebourne. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
