Robert Ray "Bob" Kuntz passed away from complications of Alzheimer's on November 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Frances "Jo" Kuntz. He is survived by their son, Robert R. Kuntz II (Marrie Schafer), their daughter, Cathy A. Patsko-Clark (PJ Clark), two grandchildren, Stacey Patsko and Leah Allen (Mike Allen), one great-grandson, Spencer Allen, a half-sister, Connie Wheeler, a step-brother, Dwayne (Sue) Kuntz, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob was born on December 27, 1924, to Lloyd and Neva Kuntz in Little Rock, AR. He graduated from high school in Woodward, OK. Following high school, Bob served the town of Woodward as a firefighter. He also enjoyed riding around the area on his Indian motorcycle. At the age of 18, Bob enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Bob was a ball turret gunner on a B-24, the "Rose of Juarez", when it crashed in Chongking, China. Sent to recover in the Army hospital in Auburn, CA, Bob met a young nurse named Frances "Jo" Johanon and fell in love. The two married on September 4, 1945.

Always a hard worker, Bob spent time as a Goodrich/Goodyear tire salesman and a milkman, before joining Prudential as an insurance agent. His friendly approach to customers made him a successful agent for 28 years before his retirement. Following retirement, Bob spent time working around the house, traveling throughout the U.S. with Jo in their trailer, and attending their granddaughters' various activities.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 21 at El Camino Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at El Cajon Wesleyan Church on Saturday, December 29 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the El Cajon Wesleyan Church "Building Fund", 1500 E. Lexington, El Cajon, CA 92019.
