Cooperstown -
Mrs. Flora S. Bridger, 83, formerly of Cooperstown, died Tues. Aug. 20, in her home in Binghamton, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Fri. Aug. 23 in the Tillabaugh Funeral Home, Cooperstown. The Rev. Frederick W. Connell, pastor of the East Springfield Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Springfield Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Bridger was born on March 5, 1880, daughter of Lorenzo and Harriett (Knapp) Steele. She was married to Samuel M. Bridger, Dec. 5, 1900 in Springfield. Mr. Bridger died April 22, 1957.
Mrs. Bridger had lived in Cooperstown about 60 years before moving to Binghamton.
She was a member of the Cooperstown First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs Bridger is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Moyer, St. Johnsville; and Mrs. Anna Brown, East Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
