HISTORY: Mr. Gulledge was born August 26, 1935 in Mt. Croghan, SC. The son of the late James Preston Gulledge and Edna Burgess Gulledge Tucker, he was a former employee of Burlington Industries, managed and operated the Mustang Stations in Chesterfield and C
heraw, and worked in construction until his retirement. Mr. Gulledge was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and Ruby Masonic Lodge # 314. Charles enjoyed cattle farming, meeting and talking to people, and cruising in his convertible Cadillac on a warm day. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, and a friend to all. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Ava Grace Gulledge; 1 son, Ricky Gulledge; and by his brother, Billy Gulledge.
