MUNCIE - Jacqulene "Jackie" Mason, 76, passed away Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012 at Morrison Woods Health Campus following an extended illness.
She was born July 9, 1936, in Stanford, KY, the daughter of Oren and Rebecca (Watts) Gooch. Jackie was a homemaker and lived at the same address in Muncie for over fifty-one years. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved cooking for everyone. Jackie cherished her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jackie enjoyed working auctions with her husband of sixty years, Noah.
Surviving are her husband, Noah, Muncie; daughter, Vikki (Mason) Orban (husband, Harry) North Carolina; daughter, Rebecca "Becki" (Mason) Carlisle (husband, Rick) North Carolina; son, Mark A. Mason (wife, Rhonda) South Carolina; in addition to several grandchildren, Charity Sayre, Andrea (Mason) Wind (husband, Joel), Mark Mason (wife, Amy), Brooke (Hay) Terry (husband, Joe), Erin Mason, Taylor Mason, Dustin Oliphant, Ray Bristow (wife, Kia); along with great-grandchildren, Talon Terry, Tristin Terry, Noah Terry, Sydney Mason, Emily Mason, Savannah Wind, Cameron Wind, Gabby Bristow and Mason Bristow.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Noah Robert Mason and Larry Dean Mason.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Morrison Woods Health Campus for the wonderful attention and care that they gave to Jackie.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Hoyt Davis officiating. Graveside burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery, gathering after in Hospitality room at Elm Ridge.
Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
