77 years of age at time of death. Daughter of Joshua Adam and Tabitha Gann Amos. Wife of Walter Loura Brown, who preceded her in death. Surviving children were Mrs. N.F. Hall and Mrs. J.R. Smith of Stoneville, Lincoln Brown of Sandy Ridge, Powell Brown of Price, and Edgar Brown of Stoneville. Also survived by five brothers, Jess Amos of Winston-Salem, Jason Amos of Danville, Va., Jeff, Jim, and Charlie Amos, all of Sandy Ridge. (from obituary in W/S Journal, that mistakenly had Brown as their last name) and also two sisters, Mrs. Dayton (Eliza Dell) Amos of Sandy Ridge, and Mrs. Will (Bessie Mae) Martin of Mayodan.
