Actress, Model. During the 1970s and early 1980s, she appeared in over 150 films, including major motion pictures and made-for-television movies. She was also a very popular model in both print and commercial work. Some of the television series programs in which she frequently appeared were Columbo, The Dukes of Hazzard, Kojak, Harry-O, Starsky and Hutch, and Police Woman. Born Barbara Karen Perk, she took the stage name of Karen Lamm after her marriage to Robert Lamm of the rock group Chicago. She later married Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys on May 21, 1976. However, their relationship was as tumultuous as it was passionate. They divorced a year later, then remarried in July 1978. Two weeks after the second marriage, Dennis Wilson filed for divorce. In 1983, she worked as a producer for such television shows as The Watcher and the made-for-TV movie, The Menendez Brothers.
