Mrs. Boone, a resident of Lawtell, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2000,in Opelousas General Hospital. She was a housewife.
Survivors include: three sons, Henry Boone Jr. of Opelousas, Adrian Boone of Eunice and James Boone of Lawtell; seven daughters, Ruby Granger and Virginia Bertrand, both of Opelousas, Ella Bertrand, Victoria Pitre, Eva Boone, Mary Boone and Velma Boone, all of Lawtell; 30 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Boone Sr.; her parents, Christoval and Victoria Lejeune; four sons, Hilden, Louis G., Rufus and Alan Boone; a daughter, Wilma Soileau; five brothers; and a sister.
