Here lyeth the body of Thomas Eymes esquire, one of her majesties counsel established in the north parts and secretary and keeper of her highness signet appointed for the said counsel, who married Elizabeth one of the daughters of Sir Edward Neville knight, and departed out of this life to the mercy of God the sixth day of August an Dom. 1578.

I have chosen the way of thy truth, and thy judgements have I laid before me. Thy statutes have been my longs in the house of my pilgrimage.

Here lyeth the body of Elizabeth Eymes widow, late wife of Thomas Eymes esquire deceased, one of the gentlewomen of queen Elizabeth her privy chamber, and daughter of Sir Edward Nevill, knight, one of the privy chamber to king Henry the eight, who departed this life to the mercy of God the third day of February Anno Dom. 1583.
