Daisy was the daughter Franklin and Effie Everhart Virts. She was twice married, the first time to Harry C. Snoots who died in 1949, and then to James Trussell, who survived her. She was also survived by children Wilbur Snoots and Katherine Ayers, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and sister Mary Moore. Two children predeceased her: Helen Jenkins in 1960 and Delorse Woods Renn in 1973.
Daisy was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Brunswick.
