Sept.23. A few friends and neighbors gathered together last Saturday afternoon at the residence of Henry Mount to perform the Sacred rites and say the last farewell to his mother Mrs. Phoebe Mount, who died Thursday Sept. 19, 1901. The Rev. J.E. Showers, discoursed comforting words to the friends on the beauties and the glories of the heavenly land based on Revelations after which the deceased was taken to Jacksonville Cemetery for burial.
