GATES SERVICE SET WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Arvilla C. Gates, 52, Wright City, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Wright City, with the Rev. Charles Duvall officiating.

Mrs. Gates was found dead of natural causes near her home in the Wright City area Sunday.

Born Oct. 27, 1932 in Blanchard, she had been a resident of the Wright City area 15 years. She and Marvin Gates were married Dec. 10, 1949 in Purcell.

In addition to her husband, Marvin, she is survived by three sons, Dennis Lee Gates of Bartlesville, Marvin Eugene Gates, Jr., of Texas, and Walter K. D. Gates of Wright City; her mother, Dovie (Andrews) Napilot of San Diego, Cal.; two brothers, Jerry Graham of Purcell and Delbert Graham of Duncan; one sister, Betty Graham of California, and six grandchildren.

Arrangements and burial in Slater Memorial Cemetery are under direction of Norwood Funeral Home of Idabel.
