Walter J. Pieffer passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at home with his family around him. He was 69.
'Butch,' as he was known, was born and grew up in Philadelphia, then moved to Levittown 15 years ago.
He had a long career as a truck driver for Mawson and Mawson Inc.
His wife, Rosita A. McManamon Pieffer; and sister, Patricia McElhone, preceded him in death. He is survived by his three sisters, Anna Simpson, Helen Dankanich, Ruth Straiton; a brother-in-law, Dan McManamon (his Best Bud); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Carter Funeral Home, 314 Cedar St., Bristol, where calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Tullytown Cemetery. Carter Funeral Home, Bristol.
