Venna Mae* Watkins Swalberg Lange passed away peacefully on December 20, 2012. Born May 1, 1921, in Midview, Utah, to Arthur Vivian and Andrea Rich Watkins. She married Carl Albert Swalberg on February 6, 1942, in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Provo, Orem, Salt Lake City, Bountiful, and Hawaii. Carl passed away April 17, 1993. She then married John Marvin Lange June 23, 1995, in the Salt Lake Temple. Venna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Relief Society president, Primary president, counselor in the stake Relief Society presidency, and teacher in the Primary, Sunday School, MIA, and Relief Society. In 1981, she served a mission with her husband, Carl, at the Hyde Park Visitor Center in London, England. She served as PTA president in the schools and was an associate realtor.

Venna is survived by her husband, Marvin; her children and spouses: Judi Wall, Randy and Mary Jane Swalberg, Chris and Rebecca Swalberg;, son-in-law, Lindsay Prisbrey; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Nina W. Palmer. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her daughter, Jill Prisbrey (Lindsay); her parents; her sisters: Jeanene Scott (Mrs. Richard Scott) and Nedra W. Reese (Thomas); and brothers: Arthur R. Watkins and Don Watkins.
