Rev. Dr. George Egerton Strobridge, Jr was the son of George Egerton Strobridge, Sr and Mary Mercey (Fingland) Strobridge Conwell. Catherine "Kate" Mehetabel (Kidder) Strobridge was his 1st wife. They were married in 1866. Catherine died October 14, 1908. Celeste V. (Ribble) Strobridge was his 2nd wife. They were married November 1, 1909. Celeste died May 6, 1952. Rev. Strobridge was a minister in the Kentucky Conference/Western New York Conference/New York Conference, and New York East Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He served during the Civil War - May 1864-October 1865. He served Buffalo: Delaware Avenue, Erie Co., Buffalo District, New York 1874-1875.
