Pre-Revolutionary War Hero. He lived in Ohio part of his adult life as a frontiersman and land-developer. Later, he commanded a company of Maryland riflemen in the Continental Army at Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was commissioned a Colonel under George Washington during the American Revolutionary War and died in service of the Army.
