Born 'Agnes Maria' Martin as the sixth child of thirteen to Joseph Martin(1844-1927) and Philomene Isabelle(1845-1925) on 06 Jan 1873 in Negaunee, Marquette Co., MI. She was baptized at St. Paul Parish in Negaunee, on 10 Jan 1873. The family moved back and forth between Michigan and Quebec Province, Canada though 1876...permanently residing in Delta Co., MI by 1877. Agnes married Joseph Alfred "J. Alfred" Frechette(1872-1943) on 20 Jun 1898 in Escanaba, Delta Co., MI. They moved to Lucca, Ransom Co., North Dakota where firstborn Roland W. was born. They also had non-surviving daughter born in Lucca, ND or in Ben Wade Township, Pope Co., MN where they moved to by 1900. By 1902 they moved to Delta Co., Michigan where son Wallace G. was born. They temporarily lived in Amberg, WI by 1905 and returned to Escanaba, MI by 1910. Their last moves were in Upper Peninsula of Michigan: by 1918 to Hendricks Township, Mackinac Co. MI; before 1926 to Rexton, Mackinac Co., MI; around this time, they adopted a 2 yr old daughter, Irene, in 1922. They made their final home in Rudyard, Chippewa Co., MI by 1938.
