Major League Baseball Player. Nicknamed "Bris", he made his professional debut on April 21, 1905, as an outfielder for the Philadelphia Athletics. For eight seasons 1905 to 1913, he played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Cleveland Naps and Boston Braves. He ended his career with 707 hits, 236 runs batted in, 13 home runs and a .256 batting average.
