"Pearl". Pearl was the daughter of George and Joanna Stimmell Burall. She was married three times. Her first husband was Harry Barthlow and they had three children: John, Joanna and Peggy. Pearl's second husband was John Hartsock, and they had a son Austin. Her third husband was my great grandfather Arthur Snoots, and she acquired a step-son, Lawrence Snoots. They often lived apart but remained married until Arthur died in 1977.
Pearl was survived by her children Joanna Barthlow, Peggy Biddinger and Austin Hartsock, step-son Lawrence Snoots, 10 grandkids and 9 great-grandkids. She was predeceased by her son John Barthlow.
Pearl was an Avon Lady for about 35 years and was so good at it she became a member of the President's Club, an honor few Avon Ladies receive. On the occasion of her 90th birthday in 1980, she was given a surprise party by her fellow Avon Ladies.
