Mrs. Lydia Weitzel, wife of constable Samuel Weitzel, died at 4:30 oclock Wednesday afternoon at the family residence,507 W.Decatur street. She was 60 years of age and came to this state in 1853. She has been suffering with internal cancer for two years and had been bed fast for eight months. Her husband survives her. The funeral will be held at 2 oclock from the family residence, Rev.D.F.Howly officiating.
