SIMMONS, Grace M., 93, of RD 4, Cameron, died Friday, January 21, 2005 in Cameron Continuous Care Center. She was born May 7, 1911 in Cameron, a daughter of the late John and Nancy "Jennie" Morris Chambers. She was owner/operator of the former Simmons Market, Cameron and a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Simmons and one brother, Albert Chambers. Survivors include two sons, Howard L. Simmons, Jr. and Paul W. (Zula) Simmons, both of Cameron; five grandchildren, Charles L. Simmons of Chesapeake, Va., Charlene Phillips of Virginia Beach, Va., Cheryl Sawyer of Knotts Island, N.C., Steven Simmons of Cameron, and Douglas Simmons of Columbus, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren; two nephews, Gary Chambers of Paden City and David Chambers of Glen Easton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ronald McCoy officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Cameron. W.Va.
