DR. CARLEY PASSES AWAY
Dr. J. O. R. Carley, after an illness of three months, passed away Monday evening at 6:40.
Dr. Carley was sixty-three years of age and was a resident of Winchester for twenty-eight years. He had a large practice and was always very attentive to his patients. He was always ready and willing to go wherever his services were needed. He was a friend to everyone and he will be missed.

Dr. Carley was a member of the Christian church, also of Jefferson Lodge No. 84, A.F. & A.M., I.O.O.F., K. & L of S., and the M.W.A. Orders.
Wednesday morning at 7:30, after brief services, under the auspices of Masonic lodge, conducted by Dr. A. H. Boyd, Pastor of the M. E. church, and R. C. Young, acting Master of the lodge, the body was conveyed to the station and on the 8:40 passenger, accompanied by Mrs. Carley and daughter, Mr. E. G. Goode, was taken to Prophetstown, Illinois, his old home, for interment.
The large number of friends that accompanied the body to the station, showed the high esteem in which the doctor was held.
