Dies in Denver
John D. Stack, a former resident of Shelton and Hall county died in his home in Denver, Colo.. Saturday, Jan. 10. Funeral services were held Jan 14 from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Denver with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
He was born in Bradshaw, Neb., Nov. 9, 1889, later moving with his family to Harvard, Neb., where he completed his schooling in the Harvard Public Schools. He moved to Hall County in 1910 where he engaged in farming for many years.
He was married to Agnes McNeil of Shelton in 1918. She died in 1930. He later married Ethel Thomas, who survives him.
He is also survived by five sons, James, Watertown, Conn.; Francis C., Glendale, Ariz.; John L., Donald V., and Richard J. of Denver; Two bothers, James, Lincoln, and Charles, Circle, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Ryan, Mo., and Kathleen Stack, Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son and daughter, a brother, Donald, who recently died; and two infant sisters and an infant brother.
