COOK, Betty Sue - Age 74, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Howell. Mrs. Cook was born July 19, 1935 in McComas, West Virginia the daughter of Claude and Annie Beamon. Betty enjoyed playing bingo but her greatest loves were cooking and taking care of her family. Surviving are her children, Demia (Carl) Bowling of Georgia, Teresa (Michael) Kruis of S. Carolina, Earlene (Steven) Stone of Michigan, Sammie (Ali) Chaudhary of N. Carolina, Mildred Simpson (Dan Pakutz) of Michigan, William (Liz) Cook of Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; special sister and aunt to her children, Patricia Beamon of Michigan; brother, Rick Beamon many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband James Kennice Cook, Sr., son, James Kennice Cook, Jr., brother, Larry Beamon, sister, Rita Stanley, brother, Paul Stevens, great grandson, Alex Mendoza. Friends may visit the family from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Friday at Reigle Funeral Home Sunset Chapel. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at the funeral home.
