Obit: JOHN BARNETT, 74 years old, a retired farmer, died at the Palmer Hospital at 6:30 o'clock last night. He had been seriously ill for a week with heart disease.
He had resided in this county practically all his life. He was born in Rushville, Ohio. When he was 12 years old, is parents located on a farm five miles southeast of Kirklin. He lived there until 10 years ago when he quit farming and moved to Frankfort.
Two brothers survive; George of Oklahoma and James of Kempton, Indiana
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Honey Creek Church. Interment at Oak Hill cemetery.
