Funeral from the O'Keefe Funeral Home Wednesday Jul 27 at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to be present. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery.

Ethel C. Durnin of 14 F. Lee Terrace died Sunday night at Wedgemere after a long illness. She was 80. Born in Taunton, daughter of the late John P. and Ellen (Power) Durnin, she had lived in this city all her life and was educated in Taunton schools. She was employed as a cook at the Dever School for 10 years before her retirement in 1970, and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Haunch of Cranston, RI; two nieces, Mrs. Bernard (Marguerite) Hewey and Mrs. Richard M. (Jean L.) Paulson of this city; and three nephews, John F. Hickey Jr., of Taunton, George W. Durnin of Leicester and John Waldron of Boston.
