John M. Grogan was the son of Dr. John Sebation Grogan and Magna Oliva Melby Grogan. He married Jane Elizabeth Stockdale on Mar. 21, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN. They had four children during their life time. They settled in Colo. after living a brief period of time in MN. and IA.
Dr. Grogan's specialty was radiology. During WWII he served as a doctor with the 8th Armored Division.
Dr. Grogan's father, John Sebastion, was first a doctor in Kenmare, ND where he met his future wife Magna Melby, who was of superintendent of nurses at the hospital in Kenmare. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Melby of Feiring, Norway. After their marriage they moved to Flaxton, ND and then on to Wadena, MN. Where they remained until their deaths.
John M. was cremated and the remains are buried at the First Universalist Church in their memorial garden in Denver Co., CO.
