Staff Sgt. Marc A. Scialdo, 31, of Naples, Fla. He was assigned to the 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. He died March 11, in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Staff Sgt. Scialdo, a Black Hawk section chief, joined the Army in January 2003 and arrived at the unit in January 2012. This was his second deployment. His awards include the Air Medal and Army Commendation with Valor.

Scialdo and his wife, Ashley of Naples, FL. He also leaves behind his niece and nephews, William R. Harvey, Alexis V. Ehlers, River Nelson, Jake A. Scialdo, and Henry C. Scialdo, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, In-laws and friends.
A Wake will be held on March 21, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Parish Life Center at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 28290 Beaumont Rd. Bonita Springs, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 625 111th Ave. No, Naples, FL with Very Rev. John J. Ludden, Pastor, officiating.
