Professional football player. Affectionately known as "Suki," the 6'5," 268 lb. Holland grew up in Sherman, Texas, and became a member of an outstanding Tennessee State offensive line that protected quarterback "Jefferson Street Joe" Gilliam. In 1971, he was the first round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals and helped anchor an offensive line that protected star quarterback Ken Anderson and opened rushing lanes for several successful backs including Archie Griffin, Boobie Clark and Pete Johnson. After playing with the Bengals from the 1971 through the 1979 seasons, Holland spent his last NFL season in 1980, playing 2 games as a member of the Detroit Lions and 10 as a member of the New York Giants.
