Irma Lee Burrell McCall, 85, of Tuckasegee, died at her residence March 6, 2013. A native of Jackson County, daughter of the late Dock and Victoria Melton Burrell, she was a member of Sols Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Mark Burrell, Estas Burrell, General Burrell, Roger Burrell, Alvin Burrell, Sim Burrell, Elsie Burrell, and Otelia Burrell.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Mathews and husband, David of Tuckasegee, and Darlene Bennett and husband, David of Sylva; three sons, R.C. McCall and wife Bernice, Earley McCall, Harley McCall all of Tuckasegee, sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Geraldine Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the chapel of Melton Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Burrell, Rev. Eddie Stillwell, Rev. L.H. Mathis and Rev. Herman Mathis officiating. Burial will be at Broom Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, March 8, 2013 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to: Broom Cemetery Fund c/o of Wayne Broom 492 Oak Ridge Road, Tuckasegee, NC 28783.
