The following letter is to Mr. John Glaze from niece Lizzie Glaze dated June 28, 1891-----spelling has not been corrected. This is the companion to the letter from William to brother John written the same date and also by Lizzie.

Mr. John Glaze
Dear uncle,
I now take the pleasure of answering your most welcom and Kind letter. this leaves all well but pa. It has bin 7even weeks since he has bin out of bed. he hasent walked since Christmas. he has has contraction of the nervs and his back bone is in to in 4 places nerley. he hasent plowed any for 5 years. if he gets so he can travel he will come down this fall to see you -- there is 9 in family -- I am the oldest one. I am 16 years old and way 123-1/2 lbs.
