Mr. John Glaze
Dear uncle,
I now take the pleasure of answering your most welcom and Kind letter. this leaves all well but pa. It has bin 7even weeks since he has bin out of bed. he hasent walked since Christmas. he has has contraction of the nervs and his back bone is in to in 4 places nerley. he hasent plowed any for 5 years. if he gets so he can travel he will come down this fall to see you -- there is 9 in family -- I am the oldest one. I am 16 years old and way 123-1/2 lbs.

you said you had one girl 14 years old tell her to write to me. I would like to see you verry much. We live six miles of Eureka Springs. so I must close. We had a letter from si to the other day.
