Actor. He is best known for his television role as 'Scott Parker Chandler' on the long-running soap opera series, "All My Children" from 1988 to 1991. Amelio's character was the son of Stuart and Cindy Chandler, Adam Chandler's brother and sister-in-law. In a later episode Cindy died from AIDS. Amelio's other roles included, an appearance on "Kate & Allie" in 1987, 'Kevin McGibbon' on "Life With Lucy" in 1986, 'Patrick McGavin' in the film, "A Place To Call Home" in 1987, and as 'Young Billy' in the 1989 film, "Born On The Fourth Of July", which also starred Tom Cruise. Amelio passed away in Schenectady, New York, on April 1, 2005, at the age of 26, of an internal infection.
