Lyndol Marie Mcfarlain died peacefully in her home at 12:05 PM March 25, 2013 surrounded by her husband and 4 daughters after a brave fight with ALS "Lou Gehrig's Disease".
She was born in Iota, LA on March 17, 1942 to Lynn and Allie LeJeune. She was an active member of the 4 winds Cherokee Tribe.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Francis McFarlain; two sisters, Yvonne Wintermute of Sacramento, CA; Katherine Douget of Iota, LA; four daughters, Paula and husband Pat Fruge, Lori and Danny Dyson, Jackie and Chad Richard, and Sandy and Randy Trahan, all of Lake Charles. 21 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn LeJeune and Allie Cart LeJeune, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home from 4PM until 10PM with a 6PM Rosary. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8AM until time of services. Services will be Thursday March 28, 2013 at 11AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Father Bill Miller will officiate services.
