The Daily Northwestern, Oshkosh Mon 14 Mar 1910:
Mrs. Elizabeth A. McCourt, widow of Peter McCourt and formerly a well known resident of this city, passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph G.(Claudia) McCabe, at Chicago. The deceased had been ailing for some time and the end was due to a complication of diseases.
Mrs. McCourt was eighty-four years of age and was born in New York state in January, 1826. Mr. and Mrs. McCourt came to this city in 1850 and old residents will distinctly remember them. Mrs. McCourt had not resided in this city for the last twenty years.
The surviving relatives are Mrs. Andrew Haben of this city, Mrs. Ralph G. McCabe of Chicago and Mrs. H. A. W. Tabor of Denver, Colo., all daughters of the deceased. Four sons also survive Mrs. McCourt. They are Peter McCourt, Phillip McCourt and Willard McCourt, all of Denver, Colo., and Mark E. McCourt of Chicago. Two sisters are also numbered among the survivors. They are Miss Jeanie Nellis of this city and Mrs. Riley of Milwaukee.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made but the remains will be brought to this city for burial.

Note: She was the daughter of Dennis Nellis and Margaret Anderson. The obit indicates birth in Jan but the death cert reads as May 25; she was also only eighty-three.
