On February 8, 1937, Victoria was united in marriage to Joe Kraft in Park, KS. She loved to help Joe with the farming. When time permitted, they traveled extensively. Joe passed away May 16, 1978.
Victoria was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Altar Society, both of Park. She adored her grandchildren and was known as grandma to many non-related children. She kept herself busy helping others. Cooking, fishing, playing cards, entering sweepstakes, and watching cooking shows on television were her favorite pastimes.
Survivors include five grandchildren, John Dinkel and wife, Laura, Vicki Jarnagin and husband, Joel, Jim Dinkel and wife, Cindy, Brad Dinkel and wife, Dobie, Scott Dinkel and wife, April; seven great-grandchildren, Jayde and Joshua Jarnagin, Matthew and Jessica Dinkel, Trevin and Trajan Dinkel, Taitiana Dinkel; and a son-in-law, LeRoy Dinkel of Grainfield.
Her husband, Joe; a daughter, Inez Dinkel; seven brothers, Otto, Richard, Alfred and his infant twin brother, Joseph (Joseph died at birth), Rudy, Anthony, Albert; and three sisters, Matilda Kraft, Sophie Yarberry, and Bertha Younger, preceded her in death.
A Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 26, 2011, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Park, KS. No visitation is planned. Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Masses and can be sent in care of Schmitt Funeral Home, 901 S Main, Quinter, KS 67752.
