MR. JOHN SEILER PASSED AWAY AT EARLY HOUR THIS MORNING At about five o'clock this morning occurred the death of Mr. John Seiler of route four, who resided about three miles southwest of this city. He had been quite feeble for some time, and his advanced age 87 years rendered his recovery impossible. Mr. Seiler was born in Westover, Germany. In 1835 he came to America end settled in this county. Sixty-two years ago, on the 11th of last August, he Was united in marriage to Miss Mary Mauck, who preceded him in death 6 years ago. . , Three sons (maybe 4?), George, James and Christopher (Christian), and three daughters, Catherine and Maggie Seiler and Mrs. John H. Schrodt, all of this county, survive. Mr. Seiler was a member of the Lutheran church, and was a man whose word was as good as his bond. The funeral will be held from the home ; Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. McKown of Bellmont M. E. church will preach the funeral discourse: Burial will be made In Rose Hill cemetery in this city.
