Arnold Spencer, 78, of 2201 Parrish Ave., Owensboro, died Thursday, April 19, 1984, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in Hancock county, was retired from Standard Oil of Ohio. and was a member of Parrish Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Stella May Spencer; two sons, Grover C. Spencer of Bluff City, TN., and Billy Spencer of Owensboro; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Joline) Reynolds, Mrs. Grady (Charlotte) Herreld Jr. and Mrs. Thomas (Yvonne) Emmick, all of Owensboro; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and a sister, Sarah Elizabeth Snyder of Lewisport.
Services are at 2 pm Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation after 2 pm today at teh funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice Association, 1126 Triplett St. Owensboro.
