For the last two years he was employed by the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, Warwick, RI. He was an active member of the Lions Club in PA and a communicant of St. Thomas Church, Providence, RI, where he served as a eucharistic minister. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Louise L. Laliberte Murdock; one son DC/2 Steven K. Murdock, US Coast Guard of Barnegat Light, NJ; two daughters, Kristy L. Kramer of Middletown and Kim A. Throckmorton of Waynesburg; a brother Larry R. Murdock of Heath, OH.
