Church Point—A Mass of Christian Burial for Jules LeJeune, 89, of Church Point will be celebrated on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point. Monsignor Jeff DeBlanc will serve as celebrant. Serving as giftbearers are Amy Cother, Jason LeJeune, and Jay LeJeune. Serving as lector is Angela Kovacs. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery #1, Church Point.

Mr. LeJeune passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 6:24 P.M. in a Church Point care facility.

A longtime resident of Church Point, Mr. LeJeune was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and he attended St. Edmond Catholic Church. He retired after many years from the Louisiana Department of Transportation, and he also worked for many years as a house painter.

Survivors include his daughter, Janell Venable and husband, Ronald of Lafayette; sons, Patrick D. LeJeune and wife, Adriana of Breaux Bridge, and James J. LeJeune and wife, Jacqueline of San Ramon, CA; brother, Allen Quibodeaux of Nederland, TX; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Preceding Mr. LeJeune in death were his wife, Marie Isola Richard LeJeune; parents, Sosthene and Adelina Thibodeaux LeJeune; son, Bart G. LeJeune; sisters, Leora Benoit and Bernice Miller; and brothers, Lawrence LeJeune, Hilton Quibodeaux, and Russell Quibodeaux.

Duhon Funeral Home, of Church Point, Louisiana was in charge of arrangement.
