MRS. MOSES R. BECKETT

Mrs. Moses R. Beckett passed away at her home near Gagetown Monday evening, Jan. 26 [1920], after an illness of only two weeks.

Fannie Coghlan was born at Toledo, Leeds County, Ontario, 1864. She was married to Moses Beckett of Kemptville, Ont., in March 1892. To this union four children were born; Keble, who died in November, 1918, Clare and Charles at home and Frankie teaching at Mount Clemens.

The family moved from Kemptville to Gagetown in 1910 and bought the Alvin Summers far, where they have lived since. Mrs. Beckett leaves besides her family, two sisters of this community, Mrs. T.H. Wallace, and Mrs. Ross Bearss, and one sister and three brothers in Canada. She was a faithful member of Grace Episcopal Church, Gagetown.

The funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon and burial was at Hillside Cemetery [Elmwood Cemetery]. The family mourn the loss of a faithful and loving wife and mother, and the community a good neighbor and friend.
